Standing Rigging Services

Sussex Yachts provides a full range of standing rigging services from our Brighton Marina base. From new rigging wire, to tang replacement. We provide roller furling parts and servicing for most popular brands including: Furlex (Selden), Harken, Hood, Profurl, Facnor and Rotostay. We also supply a wide range of high quality deck hardware. We have strong links with a number of top suppliers, so can supply top quality equipment and competitive prices. Our other rigging services include.

Swaging Services

We tailor our service to suit you and your vessel. With our state of the art swage machine we will duplicate/replace your existing rigging in partnership with you. We supply only the finest 316 stainless steel wire rope together with high quality swage terminals and fittings. We are capable of swaging wire up to 16mm and talurit up to 12mm.

Lifelines

We can provide strong customised stainless steel lifelines for your boat. We only use high strength 316 stainless steel wire. We also provide a comprehensive lifeline inspection service.

Dynex Dux and Colligo Rigging

Dynex Dux is used by Sussex Yachts as both standing and certain aspects of running rigging often with Colligo Rigging terminators, thimbles and dead eyes. Colligo Rigging and Dynex Dux are held in stock at the Brighton Marina Rigging Centre. Dynex Dux is a low stretch hard wearing Dyneema based product developed by Hampidjam for the Icelandic fishing fleets and can replace steel wire in certain applications.

Colligo Marine USA have a reputation for innovative rigging products and synthetic rigging at an affordable price for cruising sailors.  Sussex Yachts offer consultation on synthetic rigging and occasionally run seminars on synthetic rigging from the Brighton Marina, Village Square, rigging shop.
